Still fat
Despite a sneaky mid-week weigh-in showing that I was down to 10st, my official weigh-in this morning showed me at 10st 2lb still. Which means I’ve officially not lost any weight since last week.
Despite the lack of food and the sore muscles, nothing’s happening.
Am now becoming paranoid that some cosmic joker is actually increasing the amount of gravity being applied to me just to piss me off. Which is typical.

not to worry-you're still down 4 lbs in 2 weeks which would be a healthy weight loss-keep it up!!

Ignore the scales, look at your clothes - if they feel looser, they're going in the right direction...
maybe you gained muscle which is heavier than fat?
It's all good. At some point you'll hit this wall where you don't seem to be able to lose anymore weight but it too shall pass. You'll fit into all your cute little outfits in no time
Beaten to it.
Frangelita and GSE just said exactly what I was going to say.
But they're both right, so there ya go.
I hate the scale and all it stands for.
Hate it.
Do you feel better, at least, despite the hunger and soreness?
Yeah, muscle growth will cause to to put on weight.
Also, your weight will fluctuate day to day by a couple of pounds anyway.
Also, eat properly! You'll kill your metabolism if you let yourself go hungry, your body will go into survival mode and you'll stop burning fat!!
I feel your pain darlin, I used to obsess over my weight but about 3 months ago I realised that with exercise, proper meals and a lot of time then I'd be the shape I wanted to be.
Good luck :)
Thank you for your support. I feel a little better, albeit still fat.
I doubt very much that I've done sufficient exercise to gain muscles, and most annoyingly of all, my clothes don't feel much looser.
Surly did mention at the gym earlier that she could detect cheekbones though, so perhaps all is not lost.
Oh, and I promise I am eating properly. I'm not really starving myself, but without chocolate bars, peanuts and alcohol it just feels like it.
I've probably already mentioned this but I can't recommend it enough: Body Pump.
Seriously, try it a couple of times, it's the quickest way to get results.
Get a lawyer! Sue your scales! It's what an American would do!
Water retention. You have to make allowances for water retention. I read something in the Guardian at the weekend about some people being more sensitive to sodium in their diet, which encourages water retention that piles on the pounds.
Otherwise, do what the man above says and sue the scales.
Betty, I could give a camel a run for its money...
