Why?
I'm never sure if I like carrot cake or not, mainly because it tastes of teabags.
As I've never actually eaten a teabag though, why do I know that?

But carrot cake also comes with about an inch thick layer of the most beautiful icing in the world.
Bad for dieters, but.. just glorious- quality AND quantity, which makes up for the tea bag taste, does it not?
Carrot cake - yummy except when the dastardly manufacturers sneak raisins in them. Evil.

The danish variety always comes with a creamy cheese cream filling and some sort of nuts. It's disgusting.

Mmmmm... carrot cake. I like it even with raisins and/or nuts.
Have you tried beetroot & chocolate cake? I loathe beetroot but in cake form it's delicious. It makes the chocolate really velvety and you can't really taste beetroot.
